Blue Freedom
For the American boys of the 60s and 70s, playing with army men was almost a rite of passage. However nowadays those same toys are accused of advocating gun violence, militarism, and are removed from school yards and playgrounds. I would like the grown men of my generation to remember what it was like to play freely with those army men without wondering if it was still politically correct or not.
Materials: multiple unique vintage, toy solders framed in a 3D lacquered white wood frame and plexiglass front protector.
Dimensions: 21”x 21″x 5″
Limited edition of 10. Though each piece is truly unique due to toys used.
